Dr Andrew Wainwright

Dr Andrew Wainwright is an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in paediatric orthopaedics. He provides comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. With a patient-centred and reassuring clinical approach, Dr Wainwright is dedicated to helping young patients achieve optimal mobility, physical development, and quality of life.

His clinical focus encompasses the diagnosis and management of complex developmental, congenital, and traumatic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Dr Wainwright holds particular expertise in children's hip disorders, lower limb deformity correction, leg-length discrepancy, and gait abnormalities. In his clinical practice, he routinely performs specialised surgical procedures, including corrective osteotomies, tendon transfers, tenotomies, and deformity reconstruction, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualised treatment plans.

Dr Wainwright completed his undergraduate medical education, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) alongside a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB). He subsequently completed higher specialist orthopaedic training before undertaking an advanced clinical fellowship in paediatric orthopaedic surgery in Canada.
