Qualifications

Andrew qualified from St Bartholomews Hospital London in 1995 before pursuing his junior training in Redhill and Norwich. He undertook his Registrar training in Bristol and took a year out to pursue his MD thesis from Bristol University in 2002. Andrew did a travelling fellowship in Lyon, France with Prof Phillippe Neyret and a longer Arthroplasty fellowship in Canberra, Australia before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Swansea in 2006.

Research and patient outcomes has been a major part of his practice and he has published widely on aspects of knee surgery and his work has subsequently been cited over 1000 times by other authors. Andrew undertakes all aspects of knee surgery with a particular interst in Patellofemoral (knee-cap) and Osteotomy (re-alignment) surgery.
