Mr Anas Eldahshan

Mr Anas Eldahshan is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with specialist expertise in otology (ear conditions and ear surgery) in both adults and children, including complex ear disease, hearing problems and dizziness and balance disorders. He also has a specialist interest in paediatric ENT and provides care for a broad range of general ENT conditions.

His otology practice includes the assessment and treatment of recurrent and chronic ear infections, perforated eardrums, cholesteatoma, surfer ears (Exostosis), hearing loss and other middle-ear conditions. He has extensive experience in complex ear and middle-ear surgery, including tympanoplasty (eardrum repair), mastoid surgery, Stapedectomy and hearing reconstruction procedures. His experience also includes hearing implants and balloon Eustachian tuboplasty for appropriate patients.

Mr Eldahshan has a particular interest in dizziness and balance disorders and has undertaken specialist training in the assessment and management of balance conditions in both adults and children.

Within paediatric ENT, he treats common and complex ear conditions as well as glue ear, hearing difficulties, recurrent tonsillitis and adenoid problems. His surgical experience includes grommet insertion, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.

Alongside his specialist practice, he treats general ENT conditions including nasal blockage and sinus disease, with surgical experience including septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery.

Mr Eldahshan is a substantive NHS Consultant ENT Surgeon at University Hospitals Plymouth and is on the GMC Specialist Register in Otolaryngology with a subspecialty interest in otology. He holds FRCS (ORL) and MRCS (ENT) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Master's degree in ENT.
