Dr. Amarbaj Chandock

Dr Amarbaj Chandock is a detail-oriented, empathetic, and hardworking Doctor specialising in gynaecology with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. With a comprehensive background in hospital, clinic, and research environments, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to his role as a Consultant Gynaecologist at University Hospital Birmingham.

Specialising in Gynaecological oncology, Dr Chandock has spent over 16 years working in large teaching hospitals, including the Pan Birmingham Cancer Center and Heartlands. During this time, he has developed considerable expertise in managing complex cancer patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Dr Chandock's operative skills are diverse and impressive. He is proficient in performing a range of procedures independently, including endoscopy (such as hysteroscopy and colposcopy), laparoscopic surgeries (including diagnostic and advanced operative laparoscopy), as well as open surgeries like hysterectomy and ovarian cystectomy.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Chandock has played leadership roles within the healthcare system. Currently, he holds the position of Clinical Lead of Gynecology and serves as Medical Director and Co-founder of an e-commerce company.
