Dr Amanda Smith

Dr. Amanda Smith is a highly experienced specialist in menopause, sexual and reproductive healthcare, and psychosexual therapy. She obtained her qualifications from the University of London at Guy's Hospital. Dr. Smith is a qualified general practitioner (GP) and successfully completed the membership exam for the Royal College of General Practitioners. Her passion for Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare led her to become a Fellow of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Dr. Amanda Smith has also been recognised as a menopause specialist by the British Menopause Society. She previously managed the Menopause Clinic at the North Derbyshire NHS Sexual Health Service until its decommissioning in 2018, a period marked by significant reductions in NHS funding for Community Sexual Health Services. Presently, Dr. Smith works as a private menopause specialist and psychosexual therapist, in addition to her role in an NHS sexual health service.
