Mr Aleix Rovira is a Consultant head & neck and thyroid surgeon at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital London with a sub-specialty tertiary referral practice in head & neck cancer surgery. Mr Rovira graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed his extensive ENT/Head and neck surgical training at the prestigious Bellvitge University Hospital. He completed further specialised fellowship training in advanced head and neck cancer surgery at Guy's Hospital.
He is actively involved in research and published internationally with book chapters and a PhD thesis analysing the role of salvage surgery after head and neck squamous cell carcinoma treated with anti-EGFR. He is an expert reviewer for several head and neck international journals.

Dr. Rovira was excellent. He was intelligent and knew what he was talking about. He explained matters in a very clear manner and made me feel comfortable to ask questions or seek clarity at every stage. I was lucky to find him and cannot speak highly enough about his professional conduct - strongly recommend!

From the outset to the conclusion of my treatment, he was kind, clear and sympathetic. Bearing in mind, I was going through the most traumatic experience of my life, but a situation he is regularly in, he always spoke to me as a human, not just a patient. My family and I will forever be grateful to him.

Dr Rovira is my main oncologist, he is a very skilled surgeon who has managed to remove a tumor from my ear canal with barely any side effects. Besides he listens to my questions, we discuss options but overall he supports my decisions. Highly recommended if you want a doctor that cares
