Mr Alberto Coscione

Mr Alberto Coscione is a Chelsea-based Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in endourology, urinary stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and general urological care. He has particular expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures and complex stone surgery, including the management of patients with significant anaesthetic or medical risks.

Mr Coscione graduated from University of Cambridge with a medical degree (MB BChir) and completed his surgical and urological training across the East of England and London. During his training, he gained experience at leading NHS institutions including Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, and St George's Hospital.

In 2022, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was also recognised as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting his commitment to both surgical excellence and medical education.

His clinical practice covers the full spectrum of urological conditions, with a specialist focus on urinary tract stone disease, endourology, and the treatment of benign prostate enlargement. He has particular expertise in minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques and has played a key role in developing local anaesthetic stone surgery services in both Cambridge and London, helping to expand treatment options for patients who may be unsuitable for traditional surgery under general anaesthesia.

Fluent in English, Italian, and Greek, with a working knowledge of French, Mr Coscione provides care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
