I had such a positive experience with Mr Treharne. From booking in I felt heard, respected, and safe. Within our initial consultation Mr Treharne gave time to listen carefully to my concerns without rushing, explained everything clearly, and created a calm and supportive environment throughout. What stood out most was their empathy, I felt very understood and my concerns were accepted and reassurance appropriately given. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, understanding, and supportive gynaecologist.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. I am very pleased to hear that you felt heard, supported, and reassured throughout your consultation. Creating a calm, respectful, and safe environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns is extremely important to me. It is wonderful to know that you felt listened to and that the consultation helped provide clarity and reassurance. Very positive appointment with Mr Treharne. Given thorough advice. Felt listened to & look forward to trying out an alternative medication.
It took me some time to get the courage together to make an appointment to see Mr Treharne in Carmarthen but I am beyond grateful that I did since it was discovered that the diagnosis I had been given three years ago, was not completely accurate and that treatment could be prescribed to allay my pain. The staff, Mr Treharne and Jenny, his nurse, did everything to make me feel comfortable and listened to and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Coil removal done well! No need to be nervous! Great team, great experience, highly recommend! Thank you
Very happy with the whole process from booking appointment through to outcome of consultation. Very friendly staff and I didn't feel rushed. The consultation was very thorough and a detailed explanation provided with clear recommendations for next steps. I felt listened to.
Excellent facilities, very welcoming and friendly staff. Overall experience with Gynaecologist and Igp very positive. Thank-you.
I saw Alan Treharne for a coil insertion. It was my first coil and I have extensive endometriosis affecting my uterus position, which made it quite challenging. Alan and the nurse (I'm sorry I forgot her name) were amazing. They did all they could to explain what was happening, ensure my pain was managed as well as possible, and managed to complete the procedure for which I'm very grateful. I would recommend to others without hesitation.

We understand that a first coil insertion can feel daunting, particularly in the context of endometriosis and a more complex uterine position. It’s reassuring to hear that you felt well informed and supported throughout, and that every effort was made to manage your comfort during the procedure. We’re very pleased the insertion was completed successfully and that your experience was a positive one. Women's healthcare should not be traumatic. Thank you for trusting us and for your recommendation.
Mr Treharne had excellent listening skills & gave valuable advice . Very polite, friendly & put me at ease with positive advice

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. Listening is such a fundamental part of good medical care, and while it should be simple, it can make all the difference. Taking the time to really hear someone often provides most of the answers needed to guide the right advice and care. I’m glad you felt heard, as that’s essential to feeling understood, reassured, and properly supported. Your comments highlight just how important that is.
