Excellent consultation. Compassionate and easy to talk to. Let me tell my story, didn’t rush me and showed genuine interest. Understanding of my concerns and explained all my options simply. No arguments when discussing my decisions, worked with me not against me as has been my experience in the past. Worth every penny!!! Left the room feeling like something had finally been achieved. Thank you
I had a great appointment for many reasons. It’s the first time I’ve felt heard about my gynaecological issues for years and I’m so grateful to Mr Treharne for listening to me. I received an ultrasound during the appointment which gave me a much more detailed understanding of my body. I also received a detailed treatment plan and above all, I feel much more positive moving forward after having time to go through my issues in detail without feeling rushed or dismissed.

Thankyou so much for a kind review. I give my clients as much time as they need. To feel heard is to validate. You can only make a meaningful plan when you have all the information, and that's what we do here at IGP / WWWW.
I recently had an appointment with Mr Alan Treharne and was extremely happy with my diagnosis, advice and future appointments. I felt at ease, all the staff were extremely helpful and kind, and by having a diagnosis there and then, it was a big weight lifted off my shoulders.

I always say, its never just about the doctor, its about the team. At IGP and WWWW, I work with great people who go that extra little bit further. Its not an appointment, its an experience. I'm glad you felt supported.
Alan was so clear and very well spoken when explaining the process of what I was having done. He was so welcoming i honestly can’t recommend him enough he’s amazing and very professional

Glad you felt heard and everything was so well explained. I'm so pleased you had such a good experience, women's heath should not be a negative experience and should not be daunting. Best wishes.
What an amazing experience! From the moment I got to clinic, everyone was so welcoming. I was anxious as I'd had a couple of awkward and uncomfortable experiences with a nurse and GP prior to this appointment. But, the appointment it's self with Mr Treharne was so good! He explained the procedure clearly and had a good sense of humour. Him and the nurse prepped me and talked me through what was happening. They were both chatty, calm and good energy. This really was unlike any experience I'd had before. Also, during the scan, Dr Treharne noticed something unusual (but normal) and talked me through the findings. I really can't thank him, the nurse and the reception team enough. Also want to thank the lady that I initially booked the appointment with, she was attentive, answered additional nervous questions I had and they were able to give me a quick appointment (for which, I'll say was very reasonably cost too!) Thanks again for all of your help. I would 100% go back to Mr Treharne for anything related to this (or anything else TBH!) Diolch

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback, it truly means a great deal. I’m especially pleased to hear that you felt welcomed, supported, and reassured throughout your visit, particularly after previous difficult experiences. Creating a calm, respectful, and informative environment is something we all strive for, so it is wonderful to know this came across. I will make sure your kind comments are shared with the nurse, reception team, and booking staff, as everyone works hard to ensure patients feel comfortable from the very first contact. I’m also glad that the explanations during your scan were helpful and reassuring. Ensuring you understand what is happening and why is an important part of your care. Thank you again for your generous words and trust, it was a pleasure to look after you.
I am so pleased I booked an appointment with Mr Treharne. I felt listened to and left with a better understanding of my situation along with a plan going forward. I would highly recommend a consultation

Brilliant - always reassured to know clients feel confident with a plan going forward. Clarity, information and active management are really important in effective management.
Recently visited the Igp and was seen by Alan Treharne due to my pcos diagnosis. I was seeking further confirmation and clarification around the best treatment methods to manage my symptoms. Alan had a lovely bedside manner and approach was warm and friendly. He listened to my story and seemed to genuinely hear me which was refreshing. He was knowledgeable in the management of pcos and advised on best treatment methods based off my experiences. I would recommend the igp to friends and family or any women needing quick, efficient and supportive care or treatment.

I had a pessary insertion 30/1/26 with Dr Treharne. I was very nervous beforehand, but he was extremely reassuring and made me feel comfortable from the start. He kindly allowed my daughter to stay by my side, which meant a great deal to me and helped ease my anxiety. Dr Treharne is excellent at explaining everything clearly and in a calm, understanding way, which made me feel fully informed and at complete ease throughout the procedure. I’m very grateful for his professionalism, patience, and compassionate care.

Dr Treharne was very professional but also very approachable which meant it was easy to ask questions. He explained things clearly and I felt it was a worthwhile visit.

Fantastic! Healthcare should not be hard work. Being able to share information clearly and easily really matters, especially when decisions are made together. Our aim is to support everyone to make the choice that feels right for them. Its great when people are empowered with the knowledge to help them feel better! Id call that teamwork.
