Dr Aiste McCormick is a distinguished Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist and specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, she provides comprehensive medical and surgical management for women experiencing complex gynaecological conditions and pelvic malignancies. Dr McCormick approaches patient care with reassurance and empathy, ensuring that individuals feel fully supported and informed throughout every stage of their diagnostic and treatment pathway.

Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of gynaecological cancers, including endometrial, ovarian, cervical, and vulval malignancies, as well as colposcopy and complex pelvic surgery. Dr McCormick maintains a strong commitment to clinical research and academic advancement, with particular interests in cancer therapeutics, cellular DNA repair mechanisms, and mismatch repair testing for Lynch syndrome in endometrial cancer. Dr McCormick earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons). To further her academic and research focus, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research (PGCertClinRes) and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and has completed accredited subspecialty fellowship training in Gynaecological Oncology.
