Dr. Afzal Haque

Dr Afzal Haque is a GDC registered dentist, based in Stretford Manchester and specialises in Endodontics. He is currently a Principal Dentist at Stretford Road Dental Practice in Manchester.

Dr Haque received his BDS from the University of Manchester in 2006. After discovering his passion for Endodontics, he undertook a Master’s degree in Endodontology at the University of Chester and completed it in 2015. He then completed a doctorate and specialist training in Endodontics at the University of Liverpool in 2016 and received his MEndo from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2019 and his DDSc in Endodontics in 2020.

Prior to his position at Stretford Road Dental Practice, he was a general dental practitioner for 10 years. At the practice he typically carries out endodontic treatments and procedures, these include:

• Root canal treatments
• Dental implants
• Pulp inflammation treatments
• Treatments for tooth infection

Dr Haque is passionate about saving teeth using his wide range of endodontic expertise and the latest dental technology and techniques. These include microscopes and ultrasonics. He is also passionate about education and uses his knowledge of endodontics to teach and supervise postgraduate students at Manchester Dental Hospital.
