With over two decades of clinical experience in paediatrics and specialised postgraduate training across Sheffield, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, Dr Adrian Sie is a senior consultant with a core expertise in paediatric allergy and food immunotherapy desensitisation. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci), Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK), and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTMH).
In addition to general paediatric care, his clinical focus encompasses complex paediatric allergic conditions, offering diagnostic skin prick testing and structured desensitisation pathways for food allergies. He has held prominent national leadership roles, serving as the clinical lead for the Children and Young People Allergy Network Scotland (CYANS) and chairing the Scottish Government Technical Working Group on allergies and prescribed diets.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he actively contributes to medical education and research as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, while serving on clinical advisory panels for national allergy organisations. Beyond his allergy work, he is deeply engaged in patient advocacy and rare paediatric conditions, serving as Chair of the Sydenham's Chorea Association.
