Dr Abhinav Gupta is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with many years of experience in gut health management and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. He sees private patients at the Chartwell Private Hospital.

Dr Gupta gained his first class primary medical qualification at University College London in 2010, after which he undertook his training at the London Deanery, which included posts at University College Hospital and the Royal London Hospital. Dr Gupta was also awarded an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship in Sydney, Australia, where he gained knowledge and expertise in advanced therapeutic endoscopy techniques, including endoscopic ultrasound, enteroscopy, polypectomy and luminal and bile duct stenting.

Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr Gupta gained accreditation with the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) Endoscopy and Royal College of Physicians in 2018. Since his Consultant appointment, Dr Gupta has focused his practice around evidence based medicine, holistic care and individualised treatment plans. He is an active member of the research community, authoring various papers in renowned Gastroenterology journals, which he also presents at international conferences. He has also become Clinical Lead for Education and Training at Queens Hospital, where he acts as faculty on teaching courses and is an Associate Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians London.
