Mr Aadil Mumith

I can’t recommend Mr Mumith highly enough. After tearing my ACL, I initially felt quite let down after speaking to other surgeons. I was even told that I should consider not going back to playing the sport I love, which was really difficult to hear as football is such a big part of my life. After my first appointment with Mr Mumith, I came away feeling completely different. I felt much more reassured and genuinely felt like I was in the right hands. He understood from the start how important it was for me to get back to playing football and was really positive about helping me work towards that. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions and made what could have been a really stressful process feel so much easier. He has been great throughout the whole journey, from my first consultation, through the surgery itself and now during my recovery. I’m now six weeks post op and feeling really positive about how things are going. I know there is still a long way to go with my rehab, but I feel really optimistic about getting back to football, and a lot of that is down to the care and confidence Mr Mumith has given me throughout the process. I’m really grateful for everything he has done so far and would definitely recommend him to anyone going through an ACL injury, especially anyone looking to get back to sport.

He was understanding, caring and able to explain everything in layman’s language

Mr. Mummith, the two anaesthetists Yan and Donna, the Phisio Yanar the nurses Minnie and ‘T’, the young female Doctor Who I can’t remember her name, the Lovely tea lady provided me with the best possible experience for my surgery. My room was clean and from the minute I walked into the hospital the day ran like clockwork. Yan and Donna made me feel comfortable when I was very, very nervous. When I needed pain relief, the nurses were very quick and showed real compassion, as did the young female dr. The Physio gave me lots of time, and helped me to get upright. Give me lots of good advice. nothing was too much trouble and he spent plenty of time with me. I cannot thank this team enough. I am very grateful. Thank you to everyone of these people.

I had an excellent consultation regarding my knee. From the outset, I felt listened to and completely at ease. He took the time to explain exactly what was happening with my knee in a way that was clear and easy to understand, without overwhelming me with medical terminology. I particularly appreciated his empathy and the fact that he talked me through the different treatment options rather than simply telling me what I should do. He also gave me really helpful advice on how to manage my knee and protect it in the period leading up to surgery. I left the appointment feeling reassured, informed, and confident about the next steps. I completely trust his expertise and feel very comfortable knowing that I will be in his care for my operation. I would highly recommend him.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr Mumith for everything he has done for our son. The surgery was a success, and the impact it has had on his life has been truly enormous. Before the surgery, we were told that our son might never be able to play football again. For him, this was heartbreaking. Because he is autistic, football is much more than just a sport, it is something he is deeply passionate about and has always been focused on. Thanks to the doctor Mumith he is playing football again. He is happy, confident, and doing what he loves most. We cannot put into words how grateful we are.
