My experience with the Focal Therapy Clinic was a welcome relief, and compared to what I was told I needed it seems like a miracle ! The fact is, these people don’t perform miracles, but what they do is re examine you and make their own assessments, which are quite frankly I believe, more open minded, less drastic and more in keeping with using the most up to date techniques available. I was told personally by a consultant in Leicestershire that I needed my Prostate removed, I was only 50 at the time, and I only went down to see Mr Marc Laniado in Windsor 5 days after my initial call to him around September 2020. I would like to stress that I DID NOT go down for a 2nd opinion, but to see if I could be eligible for Focal Therapy, a modern treatment not available on the NHS in Leicestershire. After another biopsy with Marc Laniados team, I was told only 10 days later that I indeed needed no treatment whatsoever at present, not Focal Therapy and certainly not a full Prostate Removal. This was shocking to me and absolutely the very very best news that I could hope for. Over a year later I have now submitted 4 PSA readings to Marc Laniados office, and also attended an MRI scan on December 3rd 2021 at Chenie Mews in London. I have been told I need to continue with my PSA blood tests every 3 months, and another MRI scan in 24 - 36 months if my readings continue to stay regular. My advice to you is this, if you have Prostate issues speak to these people, they are fast, they care, they are efficient and they are I absolutely believe the very very best in their field !! I feel humbled that I was lucky enough to find them before more drastic and old fashioned treatment was applied to me. Put your trust in these people, and the very best of luck. Marc Laniado is a very nice man who cares about you and your family, and a highly skilled surgeon if you need to take that route.

From the initial contact through to the final procedure my treatment has been excellent. The initial information provided was clear and very informative. The follow on with the Mr Dudderidge was equally reassuring, informative and timely. He was very happy to be available at all times to answer questions and has excellent communication channels. I have to say his secretary (Kirsten Deittrich) was an absolute star. Nothing was too much trouble and always very timely. I felt I really had someone making sure I received the best administrative outcomes. I felt I could contact the office at any time and get immediate help. The procedure itself was carried out with the utmost care and professionalism by Mr Dudderidge and his team. The outcome was as predicted and completed in a day. Subsequently, a different situation has arisen within the same discipline and I have continued to trust his advice and surgical skills in its resolution.

Having my diagnosis of prostate cancer was a massive blow. The NHS consultation was "numbing". The process using the Focal Therapy Clinic was very reassuring & the procedure performed by Mr Nigam was so professional. I walked out of the clinic an hour after the procedure pain free. A year down the line my PSA is 0.8 with no side effects.

My experience was positive in every way. I thoroughly recommend the clinic.
