RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

So far, the process has been really straightforward. Appointments have been easy to book and the communication with members of the team has been brilliant

It was comfortable. The interviewer did not rush me, emotionally or at all. I am grateful for that. Also, the questions were clear and in situations where I didn’t understand the question, she didn’t hesitate to provide the best explanation.

I spent the best part of the week stressing about this appointment, worried that I would shut down and not be able to speak but Alec Callaghan was amazing. I felt comfortable the entire time, I appreciate his patience more than anything!

The assessment was good, Lucy was very friendly and made it easy to discuss the content needed for assessment. Overall I think a little more communication regarding timelines and next steps would be beneficial for patients.

Although it took a long time to get my diagnosis I am incredibly grateful to have had it done via video due to extreme anxiety. Everyone I spoke to was kind and understanding I just wish the wait between assessment and diagnosis didn't leave me in limbo for 7 months

Absolutely abysmal service from this sham of a company, preaching about their service all over social media etc, when in reality they are causing massive amounts of damage to my mental health. Can't get the basics right, ordering medication each month is an absolute mess, having to solve a riddle each month as to how to order repeat prescriptions etc. the list goes on and on and on.

Trying to book the appointment for the video interview for the autism assessment was very frustrating as there were often no slots available and I had to keep trying numerous times before I got an appointment. One of the reasons I have used RTN for Right to Choose was because the details for RTN showed that it would take 10 weeks to receive a diagnosis. It took nearly a year to get the autism assessment and a year later I am still waiting to receive the ADHD report, although I have received a verbal diagnosis. It was good to be given a verbal diagnosis at the end of the ADHD video interview and to have a discussion about the next steps to find out if medicineI is an option. However it is going to take even longer to find out about medication.
