Had an assessment with Jessica Edwards. It felt very relaxed and easy even though I was anxious at first.

we had an appointment via video call which went well but had a few issues with trying to log onto the video call.

I met with one of the lovely assessors online. She was really kind and I felt listened to. Some of the questions I found tricky to answer/hard to interpret what was wanted from me. The assessor was helpful in rephrasing things when I asked although I did not always feel comfortable asking. I felt like we ran out of time to cover everything that I wanted to say. I feel that having an opportunity to share extra thoughts following the session would be useful.

I have just had to submit a complaint after trying, without any luck, to get a response regarding a possible second opinion. I have had no administrative support at all throughout my journey, so not known what is going on at any point. It's just reading a document on Semble and then waiting, literally for a few months, for something else to be posted. The reports themselves did not contain all the evidence submitted, had conflicting notes and outcomes, and left me with no confidence in my final diagnosis as a result. I regret choosing RTN and the impact of the outcomes has been heavy.

Everyone I dealt with was great overall. The experience was good aside from a couple of mistakes which then lead to long delays. One of the assessment calls didn't work and I had made time to sit through it. They did try to rectify this quickly but it still took another few weeks which after such a long time was frustrating. Sometimes when I would ring up the person who would answer would be short and I didn't feel so comfortable speaking to them. Otherwise, I would recommend this service up to diagnosis - I am yet to try the medication and services beyond here. I wish there was more the NHS or RTN could provide to offer support post diagnosis. The recommendations are useful but I would like a little more.

Some of the tools used were a bit young which my daughter pointed out which made her less engaging.
