Unlike other fitness centres that can feel more like spas and perhaps a little more focused just on relaxation as a result, the Lyfe team really care about your well-being and are keen to improve specific issues and annoyances with muscles or joints for example. Many of the team are very friendly but will talk to you as much as it suits you during treatments.

I attended a free trial for reformer pilates.. Brilliant session and instructor. Would like to join. But little bit expensive.

I have had occasion to use the facility for an ongoing problem this year and nothing was too much trouble to find the reason and treat the condition. I highly recommend their help and professionalism.

I had treatment for a knee after a fall. The practitioner used a variety of techniques always consulting and discussing first and problem was sorted. Had a massage with another practitioner which helped my back.

After 3 years of serious illness where I didn't move much, and an injured back, I was at the point where I struggled to put my socks on and was scared to move lest I injured myself more. I signed up for a course of 12 pilates reform back classes and 6 1-hour massages that I completed over a period of 3 months. I wish I had a video to compare me at the start and at the end of the course because the different is remarkable! From struggling to put my socks on, I'm back to sailing and dancing again. Thank you! During the 3 months I was looked after by a few different physios who are all excellent. Unfortunately, the list of physios only allows one to be selected, so I will skip that step.

I’ve been using the physio dept for a few years now, they have been helping to ease the symptoms of Arthritis in my neck and thumbs. Due to the discomfort from the physio I have a massage directly after the session, it helps me feel better quicker.

Always friendly and very knowledgeable

I have used the reformer and tower Pilates services at Lyfe Health Bournemouth for several months, and the classes are excellent. The leaders and therapists are professional, friendly and welcoming, and the range of stretches and exercises make it straightforward and encouraging for those of us who may not usually enjoy too much physical pressure! Great fun, immersive and it really has helped my mobility, movement and energy levels.
