Mr Daniel Hobell

Mr. Daniel Hobell is the Clinical Director and a Consultant Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist currently practicing at Lyfe Health Bournemouth. He graduated from Keele University in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in the NHS, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, as well as supporting patients with respiratory and neurological needs.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy alongside postgraduate qualifications including a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and a Diploma in Injection Therapy. He is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MAACP) and the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine (MSOMM). He has also developed practical experience working with semi-professional sports teams and has spent 10 years as a sports masseur, supporting athletes with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation.

Daniel is fully trained to deliver our suite of specialist services, including MRI scanning, custom 3D printed orthotics, spinal decompression (IDD Therapy), and guided joint injections.

Daniel divides his time in clinic between treating a wide range of common musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, injury rehabilitation and pre and post surgical management. He also locally oversees all musculoskeletal services, and is the registered CQC MRI services manager.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys playing rugby and golf, having previously achieved county honours in both, and spends his free time training at the gym and with friends and family.
