I recently had DMEK surgery with Mr Hamada. Whilst the surgery was complicated, Mr Hamada was patient, empathetic and extremely skilled. He and his whole team made the whole process as smooth as possible, and gave me confidence that the outcome would be positive. He is a fantastic ophthalmologist, and I thoroughly recommend him.

I cannot recommend Dr Hamada and the team at Eye Clinic London highly enough. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely cared for and in extremely capable hands. Dr Hamada was exceptional. He took so much time to listen carefully to all of my concerns and explain everything in depth, making sure I fully understood what was happening with my eyes and the treatment I needed. I never felt rushed, and his knowledge, patience and reassuring manner gave me complete confidence throughout my treatment. A special thank you to Stephanie and Gabi, who were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. They were always kind, professional and incredibly helpful, taking the time to answer my many questions and queries and always dealing with everything so promptly. Their warmth and attentiveness made the whole experience so much easier and more reassuring. I am extremely grateful to Dr Hamada, Stephanie and Gabi for the outstanding level of care I received. It is rare to find a team that combines such professionalism with such genuine care for their patients. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional eye care.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The procedure, process and side effects were all fully explained. Mr Hamada himself was charming and left me completely satisfied that the procedure would be carried out successfully, as indeed it was, without any pain or discomfort.

The care I received from the whole team at Eye Clinic London was exceptional. Everything was very well organised, with excellent attention to detail and communication throughout. I had quite a few questions after my consultation and before surgery, and every single one was answered promptly and thoroughly. I was a little apprehensive going in for my second cataract surgery, five years after surgery on my left eye, under the care of the NHS, as I had found that experience unpleasant. My experience of cataract surgery under the care of Mr Hamada and his team was exemplary. No pain, not even discomfort. The staff members were all knowledgeable, professional, reassuring and friendly. All my needs were met and I was very comfortable throughout the procedure. Mr Hamada was recommended to me by my ophthalmologist, who spoke highly of him. I am so happy that I followed her advice.

I have had DMEK cornea transplants carried out by Mr Hamada on both eyes over the last 7 months and the results are astonishing. From being virtually blind I can now read without spectacles and although it is less than two weeks after my second operation I can see very well with that eye and am expecting the slight cloudiness to clear following the application of drops over the coming weeks. After my first op the local optician told me my transplant was the best he had ever seen and I am convinced he will say the same about my most recent operation once I approach him after the above mentioned cloudiness clears. Throughout, Mr Hamada has been professional, empathetic and approachable. All my questions have been patiently answered and his support staff have been unfailingly delightful and helpful.
