On the whole, a lovely consultant. The reason for the 4 stars was a very slight language barrier, and also explanation of surgery in recovery when still groggy from anaesthetic. Not his fault, just time restraints. Happy for him to perform surgery in the future, if needed?

So Mr Evangelos carried out ACL surgery on my knee and was nothing but brilliant from start to finish. He was super accommodating and helpful through the whole process and made it as painless as can be!

It was a very scary time for me and my husband but from the moment we met Dr Vaqas we felt reassured. He always explained everything so clearly and calmly and never made us feel rushed, answering all our many questions! We had every faith in him and knew we were in good hands! We would like to thank him for all he has done.

After having been in pain with a shoulder injury for almost 2 years my 1st consultation with Mr Prasad put me at ease straight away. He explained the various options that were available to me for treatment and advised me which in his experience would be best for my situation. He explained in depth at every stage - from consenting to the operations to visiting me before I went down to surgery. My after care was very good - at my 6 week post op visit he showed me the pictures of what he had done and explained them all to me which was as much interesting as informative. He has a very reassuring manner and is very kind and friendly. If I was ever in the situation when I unfortunately need surgery again I would be more than happy to be under his care and I would recommend Mr Prasad to anyone.

After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option. We found Mr Shoakazemi to be extremely approachable, professional, calm, warm & informative.  I feel incredibly lucky to have had the faith on a date said to be the unluckiest day in the yearly calendar …Friday 13th October to undergo surgery with such a gifted neurosurgeon. I am (thankfully to Mr Shoakazemi) walking straight, talking straight & feeling fully blessed.
