I’ve had a few neurosurgeons meet me in my life and do procedures. Mrs Mitchener is the best by far. Kicks arses and takes names all with a wonderful bedside manner and genuine care for her patients and team. If you require a neurosurgeon, stop looking. I require another procedure and I’m not going anywhere else. My only personal fear over my spine now is if she decides to retire. She is incredible. My serious operation was smooth, recovery has been easier than expected all due to her.

Anne made me feel relaxed and at ease right away. She was thorough and really delved deep into understanding the problems I was experiencing. She was extremely kind, polite and professional throughout, and has made what could have been a very stressful experience extremely comfortable. Everything was done very quickly, and we had peace of mind within days. Could not recommend enough!

I found Anne Mitchener excellent. She listened to my explanation of my symptoms and treatment I had previously received. After additional investigations we then met to decide what to do next. We went through my recent mri scan thoroughly and she answered all my questions and concerns. It was lovely to have someone who was interested in my problem.

Mrs Mitchener took on both Lee's back and Violette's knee pain with great gusto. She ended up being very helpful in referring Violette to the right people for more MRI testing and then knee surgery. She also helped Violette get help for her painful shoulder and neck, which in the end did not require surgery. Lee quickly opted for back surgery when Mrs Mitchener explained where everything stood. Mrs Mitchener helped with post surgery explanations and then making sure all went well for physiotherapy, which has also gone very well. How she juggled so many of our needs and kept them all straight, we will never know. But she did a phenominal job and we are most grateful
