I did a lot of research in 2023 before I chose the right surgeon to help treat my severe endometriosis and fibroids and I am pleased to say I made the best decision. Thanks to the reviews on this website in addition to recommendations from the founder of the Endometriosis Foundation, I went ahead and booked with Mr Khazali. Throughout my consultations and whilst going through my history Mr Khazali listened and gave me the space to talk. His approach was a two surgery process (3 months apart), first one being the myomectomy to remove the fibroids and the second being the robotic endometriosis excision. Both were successful and I have recovered well from both. My monthly cycles are still yet to settle into a normal routine but I am pain free during my periods now, for the first time in my life (I'm 41). I have not taken any strong painkillers, just the occasional paracetamol. From beginning to end, my experience was nothing short of amazing. Emma, Tamasine (Mr K's secrataries) through to the Lister Hospital nurses and the stays, everything was as smooth as it could be. Leandri (the aftercare nurse after being discharged) is a superstar and is the most kindest and knowledgeable nurse there is. Thank you for looking after me during a very vulnerable time and I hope this review helps others make their decisions to choose you!

Dr Nama has gone above and beyond to help me have the tests done on time and receive the results within the required timeframe. He has provided best guidance possible and support even for last minute adjustments. I would highly recommend Dr. Nama.

Very kind of the clinic to fit in an extra unscheduled procedure

During my first consultation Mr Raza listened to my concerns about the chronic pain I was experiencing. He presented and clearly explained my options. Once he had reflected on my history and symptoms he arranged an MRI scan. He then explained the MRI results and showed me the scan and drew pictures so I could understand the extent of my endometriosis. This was very helpful and he was so gentle in his approach.

Mr Vakharia is by far the best specialist I have spoken to with regards to my needs. He has been the only person who has properly heard me and I felt he genuinely really cared about my health compared to all other doctors and specialist I have dealt with. I am so grateful I had his help

Dr Minas is very qualified and knowledgeable with his diagnosis. He is caring and considerate throughout the process and takes the time to explain each and every detail of the reports. I’ve had the opportunity to have my surgery performed by him and have been to him for consultations and follow ups. My surgery was successful and he made sure he used minimally invasive techniques during the procedure. My husband and I are truly grateful that Dr Minas is my doctor. I am so much healthier after the surgery.

Explained everything clearly throughout and next steps

Mr Swanton has an excellent bedside manner. He made me feel very comfortable during my initial consultation and explained the procedure perfectly. My second consultation was by telephone 2 weeks before my procedure, he was very reassuring and answered all my questions with straightforward answers. On the day of my procedure again Mr Swanton was very reassuring and put me at ease. The morning after he came to see me to make sure I was ok. At my follow up appointment he explained the results and showed me internal photographs and explained everything in great detail. I am so very happy and pleased with my recovery, the incisions are minimal and I can’t praise Mr Swanton enough. A fantastic gynaecologist/surgeon and I highly recommend him.

Dr Disu is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, passionate and dedicated. I had a laparoscopy and excision of endometriosis in July 2022 and Dr Disu took time to explain absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I had severe complications after my surgery (due to another health condition) and had a second surgery with Dr Disu a week later. Again, he explained everything and I trusted him completely. Dr Disu promised to visit me and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 month stay in the hospital. He visited me in ITU and in the Wards and I am so grateful to have such a caring doctor. I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr Disu and it was great to see him again and discuss my ongoing treatment. I highly recommend Dr Disu.

The care and treatment I received from Miss Nandy was absolutely outstanding and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her to a friend. She took the time to explain everything carefully and calmly and had such a lovely manner about her.
