Despite my diagnosis Professor PS made the whole experience as easy as possible for me. He explained everything fully and in simple terms. He advised on both preparation for, and post operation. Both credible and reliable PSs level of confidence was very reassuring to me throughout; he always did what he said he would do which is very rare these days. He genuinely had my best interests at heart at all points of our conversations and was always available. Whilst succint, PS has an excellent 'bedside' manner and where appropriate could inject humour to a conversation. It was also clear to me that PS was respected and well liked by the team. I attribute the success of my operation and recovery to PS's attitude, skill and knowledge for which I will always be grateful.

Dr Sahai was very attentive and listened to all my concerns without rushing me. He explained the possible causes of my problems in a way that was easy to understand and outlined several treatment options. The examination was thorough, and he made sure to address all my questions. He recommended a specific protocol to follow to prevent further symptoms. He also scheduled a follow-up appointment in three months to monitor my progress. I appreciated that he provided clear instructions and took the time to ensure I understood everything. Thank you Dr Persad. After several serious water infections I was put onto a catheter with an anticipated 18 week waiting list. I was very concerned about the long term effect this would have on regaining normal bladder functions . As a result I decided to pay privately and was referred to Dr Persad. A Rezum operation was discussed, but after Mr Persad did a more detailed examination he suggested a Bladder Neck Incision operation. This has completely transformed my future prospects. I now have a better flow than for many years and am able to empty my bladder well. Thank you Dr Persad for diagnosing and performing the best procedure. I am catheter free which is enabling me to enjoy a healthy and active future
