Miss Stella Ivaz

I recently saw Stella with a problem I had been struggling with since my early teens. I had been previously told I had 'giggle incontinence' and that I would just grow out of it but I never did. I tried to manage it as best as I could, carrying round spare trousers, trying to not drink too much and trying my best not to laugh... Which I soon realised after moving to London and starting a new job in the city this just might not work anymore. I would be scared for long meetings, worried about up-coming events and stressed about after-work drinks with new colleagues. I was then put in touch with Stella and it may have been the first time I was told that this was okay and there were options to improve or even treat my condition - which is known as an 'overactive bladder'. Since my first meeting with Stella, I have seen great improvements in my condition - I am no longer worried for long meetings or scared to laugh! It's taken off a great mental weight and I feel very lucky to be a patient of hers. It's important that I write this review because I would like for other young girls or adults to know that it is okay and normal and it can get better! Stella really has changed my life and I couldn't thank her more.

Miss Stella Ivaz is a highly competent urologist of national and international fame. This is now more clear to my after receiving a great care from her. I was very stressed and worried about my illness. From assessment to investigations and then surgical treatment everything was done highly professionally and I must say that her knowledge, Skills and patient care are outstanding and second to none. During my surgery everything was explained to me I was reassured and that put me in great ease. Surgery went well and thanks to Miss Ivaz great skills that I had no complications and having excellent recovery. Postoperative care was phenomenal. I expressed lots of thanks to Miss Stella Ivaz for her excellent treatment.

I received outstanding care from Ms Ivaz throughout my treatment, particularly in relation to aquablation. From my initial consultation through to follow-ups, she was consistently clear, thorough and reassuring, ensuring I fully understood the procedure, the expected outcomes and each step of the process. The treatment was managed with great professionalism and attention to detail, and I always felt in very safe hands. The overall experience was extremely positive, and I am now pleased to report that I appear to have made a full recovery. I would highly recommend Ms Ivaz to anyone considering aquablation or seeking expert urological care.

This review is in two parts - firstly through my fear, embarrassment and indecision I did not follow up on a recommendation that due to severe Lichen Sclerosis I should have a circumcision at age 74. This resulted in various issues and discomfort, with progressive deterioration but, more importantly, gave the Urologist and her Team a far more difficult task. However, although I was still very apprehensive I need not have worried . Miss Ivaz was everything I needed. She was thorough in her investigation and testing. Clear and decisive in what needed to be done, reassuring whilst also being frank regarding the potential complex procedure in my case (due to my delays). Throughout she has been caring, friendly and understanding. I wish to give the highest praise to her and her Team, in particular her PA Jasna and encourage anyone with urological problems to as a minimum seek out a consultation with her. MIss Ivaz was my consultant for nearly two years, following an initial consultation for repeat UTI symptoms, which upon investigation turned out to be early stage bladder cancer. I visited Miss Stella Ivaz in December regarding a penile skin condition that was causing significant dryness and itching. From the outset, she was extremely professional and reassuring. She took the time to assess the issue thoroughly and confidently prescribed an appropriate course of treatment. I was very pleased to see noticeable improvement within just a few days and within a matter of weeks the symptoms had completely resolved and everything returned to normal. Miss Ivaz was both knowledgeable and empathetic throughout the process. Therefore I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking expert urological advice.

I went into urine retention as a result of BPH and was in so much pain and had a catheter at a local NHS hospital . It was so challenging I then reached out to a number of private urologists that I saw on line and at first bypassed Stella Ivaz - it’s that unconscious bias of thinking ‘ best with a male . ‘ I then read all the five star reviews on line about Stella and being a specialist in some of the leading high tech technologies I received aquablation I then booked in a no fuss appointment that evening at 7 pm with Stella Ivaz . She was the first available and fate must have connected us together She is open , very experienced , assertive and so so kind and gentle and instantly knew she was the perfect choice Stella is so professional , very thorough and genuinely cares I had 2 more appointments over the next few days , MRI and pre surgery consultation and within a week of seeing Stella was admitted for the aquablation at the London clinic in central London .
