Although I am a very nervous person Dr Rakshi showed warmth and patience and put me at ease during my consultations. I felt total confidence in his approach to my problem and he responded personally to my emails very quickly. Because of his continued input on my behalf I can not recommend Dr James Rakshi enough.

I could not rate Prof. Silber highly enough. He treated me with care and compassion when I was urgently admitted to hospital with a serious nerological condition. He ensured I had appropriate rehabilitation, understood my prognosis and continued to monitor my progress outside hospital. I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.
