Overall very good, though I feel like a more detailed explanation at times would be nice and that I was almost being rushed out the office

I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

Syed has a huge knowledge of the spine and its workings. He is technologically advanced and breezes through scans etc during consultation very clearly explaining one's situation. There was no rush as is often the case, and he gave a very clear concise explanation to my proposed route forwards. I have had two historic back operations and over10 different musculoskeletal surgical procedures in my life. Mr Aftab will be my go to back specialist from now on. Very good manner very calm and friendly and gives one much confidence and comfort.

Dr Jacobs is very welcoming and reassuring. He spoke to my daughter to understand things from her perspective and made her feel very involved in her consultation. He is amazing with children and was very thorough. He was keen to find out how my daughter was doing the next day and called to see how she got on at school. Dr Benjamin was also the same with my son in previous appointments and his care and concern for his patients really does comes across.

I felt comfortable with Mr Lee from our first consultation, he was very clear in his explanation of what was required for my operation/s which went really well and recovery has been excellent, I find Mr Lee to be an excellent surgeon with a can do and caring attitude, I would 100% recommend him to anyone requiring surgery.. Thanks again Mr Lee.

He was precise, easy to understand, for me as a non medically trained person, he had a good manner, was polite and caring.

I am very impressed with Mr Bob Chatterjee very helpful very informative very professional and very humble. I would recommend him to everyone.

As well as being knowledgable and thorough Dr Farah was friendly and approachable. He he took the time to explain things in detail and to listen to and address my concerns. I left the consultation session feeling confident that I was receiving the best possible advice and treatment which was so reassuring.

We would highly recommend Dr Buddhdev for his paediatric Orthopaedic services. He was brilliant with our son, he listened to our concerns, has talked us all through x-rays and MRI images, and given our son reassurance that his condition will improve. We found him via recommendation, and we would now highly recommend his services to others.

Mr Sayal is an excellent communicator and takes the time and trouble not only to explain the medical condition clearly but to set out options and likely outcomes to enable the patient to make an informed decision. He is both professional and caring.
