Mr Ayoub explained the whole process and subsequent outcome very thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns in detail. The surgery was on both eyes and the treatment was painless and took little time. All in all I felt I was in good hands all through the consultations and surgery and am very happy with the outcome. Easy going

Dr Sancy Low, is a brilliant doctor. I am very short sighted in both of my eyes, and to make matters worse I had cataract in both eyes. The cataract was extremely worse in my left eyes, I thought I was going to lose my eyesight. When I meet with Dr Sancy Low she listened to my concerns, she could see how nervous and scared I was about my whole eye health. Dr Sancy said that she would look after me and she did exactly that. Dr Sancy has changed my life for the good, my cataracts are now removed, I can now see clearly. I was also given special lenses which were inserted in both of my eyes, these lenses has given me perfect vision. For the first time in my life I don’t need to rely on wearing glasses to see. I am very grateful to of met Dr Sandy. She is a wonderful and great doctor. Thank you Dr Sancy for giving me back my confidence. I no longer need to hide behind my glasses anymore. If you are looking for an ophthalmologist for a cataract look no further - Ms Richardson is the one. I thank my lucky stars for the day I found her. She is simply the best: absolutely delightful, friendly, human, engaging, knowledgeable, caring, reassuring, listens to one and notes down everything one says. She is also an expert clinician having carried out over 25,000 cataract procedures alone. Ms Richardson explains the whole procedure clearly and simply and presents all the options available for the surgery and the new lens and guided me calmly, wisely, sensitively and sensibly throughout the whole process. Successful surgery, great vision and the best ophthalmologist in the world- what more can one want?!

I found Dr Aboshiha to be courteous and kind and very professional. He went out of his way to put me at ease and explained what he was doing whilst carrying out the operation,which I found very reassuring.

I am relatively young to have cataracts and have always been scared of the optician especially the puffy puffer eye pressure machine. I had to go private as I was too scared to wait. It was the best decision me and my family made. Mr Kasmiya was so kind, gentle and patient with me. He explained everything to me in a kind manner and was clear as to what to expect. He never made me feel silly for being so scared of the operation and helped me throughout my time at the King Edward VII Hospital. His after care has been great no puffer machines! He has always been fair and honest in his diagnosis. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kasmiya for any optical issues you may have concerns with. I am currently saving for my next eye operation which I know will be as great as the first.

Miss Valerie Saw recently performed very successful cataract surgery on both of my eyes and provided excellent advice and solutions to manage and significantly improve my dry eye and blepharitis conditions. Miss Saw is highly professional, extremely thorough, and communicated brilliantly throughout the whole process, so I felt confident every step of the way. During my initial consultation Miss Saw identified some complications with my left eye. She ensured further tests were carried out where required, to ensure the surgery would be a success. Miss Saw clearly explained: my diagnosis; all of my options; and provided excellent information regarding the surgery and aftercare. During the surgeries she explained what was happening, as a result I felt at ease during the operations. She is very patient and was willing to answer all my questions and is very personable and has great people skills. I now have a “new set of eyes” and can see clearly, and colours are bright, and details are sharp.
