Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests.

In my view Mr Connell is an exceptional consultant and I have every confidence in him. He took time to explain what treatment I needed and why. His manner really put me at ease.

I only have positive things to say about my experience with Mr Rathod. He has been amazing though my whole experience from the initial consultation, throughout the operation which consisted of deep endometriosis involving bowel treatment, right through to the continued preventative measures we are going through. I won’t be going anywhere else for any future treatments I need.

My experience with Mr Vakharia has been excellent. I am someone who has not previously found engagement with medical professionals easy but Mr Vakharia put me at my ease from our first consultation. Everything was explained very well and I felt comfortable to ask questions. My surgery was complicated and Mr Vakharia and the team that he worked with did an excellent job achieving results that were beyond my expectations. The post operative care has been excellent so far too.

Mr Minas looked after me very well, he explained at length the procedure required and reassured me that all would be well. Mr Minas listens, this is a skill which has often been lost! However Mr Minas listens and treats the whole patient not just the bit that needs operating on. I thank you and would recommend your expertise and understanding of your patient.

Mr Chilcott conducted a full hysterectomy and oophorectomy on me, after being diagnosed with multiple large size fibroids. Mr Chilcott is very attentive, a great listener, and did all examinations before including questions on my psychological status which had not been done before by two other senior private consultants who totally mistreated me at the initial visits stage. I was very well explained about everything around the procedure. His skills must be great as I’m recovering with fantastic speed, the cut is neat and healing really well. Pain management was superb. The Portland’s hospital nurses team is second to none, attentive, kind and professional, a good fun too! I’ve had great experience overall, and highly recommend Dr Chilcott as a gynaecologist and a surgeon.
