From consultation to surgery and follow-up, Mr Griffiths was absolutely excellent throughout. The procedure was explained in full, the surgery was very successful with minimal recovery time and the service (and the hospital) provided was First Class A* level. He is an exemplary surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I self-referred as I was having multiple issues of digestive nature. Not only did Dr Gordon quickly arrange a CT scan to put my mind at rest but he also looked at other issues that I had and referred where necessary. My visit to him was life changing. I’m 67.

Mr Fisher so easily displayed a caring and compassionate nature. He heard me, he listened, understood and explained, showing empathy throughout. Communicating with him was so easy and productive, always knowing what the plan was. Extremely timely input. Really helped me when I needed it especially after struggling elsewhere for so long. Dr. Balaratnam was extremely calming and excellent at putting me at ease. He assisted me with swallowing the Allurion balloon and made the experience a happy one. I would recommend him for future patients having this procedure.

Dr Walsh was simply amazing. She put me at ease straight away, had an eye for detail and really listened and checked everything to piece the puzzle that is my medical history together. I have the tendency to jump around, but she was patient and could follow and direct the conversation with ease. We agreed on a plan going forward that we were both happy with to monitor my condition. In addition, as a woman, I was able to have conversations with her that I would have struggled to have with other male gastroenterologists; she approached sensitive topics with compassion, was kind and upfront. Most importantly, I feel profoundly reassured knowing she has my back, if ever my situation does flare up.

Polite and welcoming. Most importantly, listened to my description of my symptoms and took them seriously. He had clearly reviewed at least some of my recent medical history before the consultation. His explanations were clear and he didn't try to talk down to me... Well judged.

My overall experience with Dr Patel was great and would definitely see him again. He made sure I felt listened to and explored multiple options of what my problem could be. He also made me feel as though I was valued as a patient which a lot of public health care facilities lack.
