Mr Kumar has given me exemplary care. He is an extremely impressive surgeon but also really listens, takes time to settle your concerns and is clearly an excellent colleague. It was nice to see that he knew all his nurses first names and was careful to use our names. I trusted him instantly and am very glad to have been cared for by him.

I went to see Dr Fidler to gain some clarity on some reflux and digestive issues I have had. During my first consultation, Dr Fidler was patient and kind, and listened well to my concerns. Dr Fidler laid out a clear plan of action. When I had my procedure of an upper GI endoscopy, Dr Fidler explained the procedure clearly and gave me time to ask questions. Dr Fidler made me feel at ease and I felt confident in her. After the procedure Dr Fidler came to check on me and explained the following steps. During the post procedure consultation Dr Fidler gave me time and listened well. She clearly explained the findings and my options moving forward. I found Dr Fidler to be empathetic, proactive, honest and helpful in advising me on how I can move forward with my health and manage my condition. I found communication with Dr Fidler easy and found her secretary Shereen to be very kind and helpful in our communications. I would highly recommend Dr Fidler and would be happy to seek out her expertise again should I need to.

Dr Angad was great, he listened to me and talked me through the procedures and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Also had great communication with him in the lead up to the procedure.

Mr Monk was my consultant and surgeon in repairing a hernia and I would highly recommend David! I was unsure of what surgery type to go with (open or keyhole) and he talked me through the respective advantages and risks of the different approaches. He was very patient in answering my questions and noting my specific concerns regarding lifestyle impacts and recovery time. He kindly responded to some additional questions I had after the initial consultation while I was still making my decision. In the end I chose to go with the keyhole approach with David as my surgeon, and I'm very happy I did. On surgery day he came to see me to explain what was going to happen, was with me during the anasthetic, and came to talk with me and my partner after the operation once I was awake to make sure I was OK and had all the right info to recover afterwards. David called me the next day to check in, and in the post op consultation provided information about the next stages in the recovery process. David's calm, professional and warm manner put me at ease throughout the process. You feel he genuinely cares about your issue, treats you with dignity and respect, as well as being friendly and very human. He is also an expert in the field with attention to detail and high quality, as reflected in my successful operation and recovery progress. I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more.
