Very positive experience. Pleasant and understanding
Dr Fidler, made me feel very comfortable and calm about the procedure I was having. She explained the process well and I felt at ease.
Dr Helen and her team have dona a superb job and I am so grateful for their care. It was my first time doing a colonoscopy and endoscopy, Before coming in the hospital procedure I was bit scared because I never done an invasive procedure and also because I am bit anxious person. Everyone was so kind and had great emphaty, it made a big difference and I felt safe and in good hands. At the end of procedure how was really happy how everything went. If you going through the same procedure, I want to reassure you, it does not hurt and does not take that long, you can trust Dr Helen's team :)
Very skilled and gentle, provided option of doing procedures without general anaesthesia. Highly recommend.
Helen and her team are brilliant professionals! She made the experience so calm and relaxed. Few gastros have the skill +gentleness + patience to to colonoscopies without general anaesthesia, but it’s a much safer and better approach. Highly recommend Helen for colonoscopy at The London Bridge Hospital.
I can't imagine how the experience could have been improved in any way.
Dr Fidler has a lovely and friendly manner. She explained everything very clearly and also gave me the opportunity to ask any questions. The colonoscopy itself was fine and I didn’t feel anything. Mildly uncomfortable cramp for about 10 seconds but not at all painful. All over quickly too.
Very friendly and efficient. Clear explanation. The procedure was much easier than I anticipated and my throat felt fine immediately. Thank you.
Had to have a colonoscopy with Dr Fidler, she was absolutely brilliant and is probably the only person I’d be comfortable with doing this with, can’t recommend enough.
Dr Fidler has an exceptional way of talking to one as a patient, with no hint of aloofness/arrogance that can affect many consultants. She explains clearly, in out-patient consultations and also before and after procedures. She is relaxed and friendly and above all listens, making one feel a part of the treatment, rather than being simply another anonymous patient
Have you worked with this specialist?
Dr Fidler is a very experienced, professional, compassionate, and warm doctor. I have both received and made referrals to her as a Consultant colleague and so apart from my own experience of her work, I am aware of really good patient feedback about her. Very simply if I or a family member needed a Gastroenterologist, I would happily see Dr Fidler.
