Entering the lady at reception says straight down the corridor to room 6. Door at the end of the corridor says waiting room 3 so I go back and ask and she says yes. Going in, room 6 says do not disturb. But I’m wondering if it’s been left like that by accident. There’s the sound of wind playing but no sign explaining why so I spend a few minutes trying to figure out if it’s wind or a speaker. This could be handled by explaining clearly where to go and what will happen - particularly important to people who are neurodivergent, which is why I’m here. I’m anxious enough without extra cognitive load. She could say “Straight down the corridor into waiting room 3, the doctor is in room 6. If it shows do not disturb then wait and he’ll be with you shortly. There’s a speaker playing wind sounds to try to put you at ease.”

The repeat prescription service is slow and cumbersome. Why do I need to fill in a form? You tell me what strength I need, then I have to request it? It's a pain and it takes longer. Never, ever has a clinician advised me what medication I need and then get me to request it. I wanted my initial appointments to be in person. On both occasions they were accidentally scheduled as online appointments.

Such a great experience. Everyone has been warm and welcoming. I arrived broken and am leaving feeling like I’ve got my life back. I will be forever grateful. A huge thank you to Yasmin and the reception ladies.

The therapy has been amazing. I have felt as though I was always learning something new.
