I felt comfortable with Mr Lee from our first consultation, he was very clear in his explanation of what was required for my operation/s which went really well and recovery has been excellent, I find Mr Lee to be an excellent surgeon with a can do and caring attitude, I would 100% recommend him to anyone requiring surgery.. I came to see Mr. Liantis with a lower back pain and had an excellent experience with him. He has a friendly and calming manner. He explains things methodically and is generous with his time. As a patient you feel like you are in save hands with Mr. Liantis. My MRI results did not show anything of a concern but it was reassuring to hear a detailed explanation from Mr. Liantis and look at the scan together. I would recommend this doctor.

Syed has a huge knowledge of the spine and its workings. He is technologically advanced and breezes through scans etc during consultation very clearly explaining one's situation. There was no rush as is often the case, and he gave a very clear concise explanation to my proposed route forwards. I have had two historic back operations and over10 different musculoskeletal surgical procedures in my life. Mr Aftab will be my go to back specialist from now on. Very good manner very calm and friendly and gives one much confidence and comfort.

My experience from start finish was excellent. I was thoroughly given all the information prior to surgery and very well looked after during and after. Before meeting Mr Akula I had a herniated disc L5-S1 and I was in constant agony. I'm now 9 weeks post op and i already feel like I've got my life back.

I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

Mr Sadek is not only an expert in his field, but adept at putting patients at ease and explaining even the most complex things in simple terms; ensuring clarity and understanding. From start to finish he gave me confidence that I was in safe hands and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I am so incredibly grateful to have Dr Paraskevopoulos as my surgeon. From diagnosis onwards, Dr Paraskevopoulos was incredibly clear in his explanations, and really listened and responded to all our questions and concerns. He took the time to ensure we were fully informed of the balance of risks, benefits and complexities of the surgery, and secured the best team to undertake it. Mr Sayal is an excellent communicator and takes the time and trouble not only to explain the medical condition clearly but to set out options and likely outcomes to enable the patient to make an informed decision. He is both professional and caring.

I was treated with care, compassion and given a lot of detail and support and time for all my questions by Mr Prezerakos. I opted for a discectomy after several consultations and physiotherapy as the first step of treatment, but was in too much pain to walk, so had the surgery and am pleased to report all of my pain has gone and the surgey was successful.

My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis in August 2023 and Dr Lucas supported her to understand the treatment she required. She underwent spinal fusion surgery in March 2024. Thoughout this process Dr Lucas has been professional and informative and we have felt in safe hands at all times. 4 weeks post surgery she is doing very well and the surgery was a great sucess!
