I went to Dr Almahdi thinking my back pain was due to spinal stenosis but he examined me unlike other doctors I had seen and thought I may have facet joint pain. He was absolutely right and this led on to spinal nerve blocks to diagnose the matter and then radio frequency ablation. I am truly delighted with the effect. I don’t have lumbar facet joint back pain for the first time in 10 years due to my procedure with Dr Almahdi. I’m so grateful to him. He’s very pleasant and clearly knows what he is doing. Gus treated me for a case of Achilles Tendinopathy, and some anterior shin splints. I had been struggling to run comfortably for almost a year when I started seeing Gus. After an initial hands on assessment Gus proceeded to make a plan that included dry needling, massage, strength and plyometrics. Within about 8-10 weeks I was running without pain and continued to see Gus for support while building my training back up to pre-injury levels. I am now running weekly half marathons pain free.
