My consultation was excellent from start to finish. Everyone I saw was professional but also made me feel at ease and were friendly. And the questions I asked about the surgery I am going to have was answered thoroughly. I was happy with the reassurance I was given about my surgery.

Smooth from first video call to surgery. I had my surgery 1 month ago so it is too early to comment on the results as my vision is fluctuating still (one eye ok, the other having halos and glare sometimes intense). Staff is friendly and responds to your questions. Some small improvements could be -On the day of surgery I was asked how much grams of sedative I wanted and this is not an information a patient would/should know. I wished the nurse asked the question differently and advised the grams herself bssed on my answer. - staff informs you that of some common eye side effects (e.g. halos, dry eyes) but not on what this could imply for the rest of your health. For example, because one eye is experiencing more the side effects and the other not, there's an imbalanced vision and I have been suffering headaches since my surgery. I had not considered this (and as a patient I may not know to ask for this) and wished someone informed me of this possibility beforehand.

Everything was handled so professionally and smoothly. No extra stress, just went through a step by step process resulting in fast, easy organisation of a date for my hip replacement. The date came through much faster than I expected. And now all completed and a week into my recovery at home. The Benenden take all the stress out of what could be a very stressful time.

Excellent experience

The receptionist at The Manor was very pleasant and helpful. Parking was very nearly an issue, despite the early morning appointment and it’s a nightmare for larger vehicles. The hospital itself seems clean, decor a little dowdy - very crowded.

Brilliant service, staff extremely friendly, reassuring and professional. Everything was explained very clearly. Could not have had a better experience and would certainly recommend the service.
