Very caring, empathetic man who puts your mind at ease quickly

In the past 8 months I have had a total knee replacement and a hip replacement carried out by Mr Miles. As an octogenarian patient I viewed the prospect of these operations with some concern but I have the highest praise for the help, advice and care that I received from him and both operations have been a great success.

I was referred to Mr Ghosh by another Consultant who I was informed undertook half knee replacements that I had been advised I should consider having. Mr Ghosh confirmed this would be the best option, showed me my MRI and the damage to my knee and that he was happy to perform the operation. This was scheduled for just 3 weeks later. I received a detailed explanation of what the operation entailed and the possible issues that may arise. I met with Mr Ghosh both pre op and after it had been performed and then again 6 weeks later. He gave me very good advice concerning post operative physiotherapy and that my recovery was very much in my own hands. I'm very please to say I have made a rapid recovery. I considered I was in expert hands throughout and very pleased with the outcome.

Extremely friendly and has built up a lovely rapport with our daughter. She trusts him completely and nothing is ever too much trouble. We find he always explains things in a manner that is easy to understand and puts our minds at ease.

My experience with Mr Matthew Sala was excellent. He's very calm, he's very attentive and asks the right questions. He had diagnosed my shoulder injury for which he did a thorough examination during our appointment. He doesn't rush - and I feel that he cares for his patients. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

During my first consultation with Mr Krishnan he gave me a very clear explanation of the condition of my knee and the likely outcome of a full knee replacement. On the day of the operation I felt very relaxed and confident in the procedures that were going to take place. After the completion of the operation Mr Krishnan confirmed that it had gone well. Before my discharge Mr Krishnan came and spoke to my wife and myself, so that I went home happy that I could continue my recovery, including the knowledge that I would be attending physiotherapy sessions. On the follow up appointment Mr Krishnan showed an xray of the new replacement knee and explained it. He checked the movement in my knee and confirmed that I must continue to do the exercises. I feel totally confident, thanks to Mr Krishnan's skill and advice.
