Ms Monika Gos is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with a clinical specialty in mental health problems, trauma and addiction. Having developed a range of experience, she works individually with patients, consults staff and teams, provides supervision and specialist training for clinicians.
She qualified in Clinical Psychology in Poland before further studying Relational Psychoanalysis, Body Oriented Therapy and Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy in New York, USA. She has a specialist interest in cutting edge brain/body therapies, such as Brainspotting and EMDR, as well as relational and experiential therapies. As a Brainspotting Trainer and
supervisor, Monika established the private practice in London, where she provides consultation and psychotherapy for clients suffering from attachment issues and trauma. Brainspotting brings together many aspects to promote neuroplasticity and heal trauma.
Ms Gos is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), she is a member of both the
British Psychological Society and the Polish Psychologists Association (PPA). Apart from her clinical work she enjoys supervising psychology students in London Metropolitan University and City University of London. Prior to becoming a Clinical Psychologist, she was a professional violinist and now she especially enjoys working with artists, music performers and athletes to further enhance their performance.
