I contacted Ali whilst abroad having dislocated my radius and ruptured ligaments at the elbow. He was able to give me good advice about what I needed to ask for locally, and arranged for an MRI immediately upon my return. He was reassuring throughout the recovery period that the ligaments would rejoin, and realistic about the time that this would take. He reviewed it a couple of times to adapt the brace and ensure that the progress was as expected, and has been happy to spend time in explaining the medical side of the injury and how the recovery would work. Thankfully, everything mended as Ali predicted. Unusually for a consultant, but not for him, Ali has been approachable throughout on Whatsapp and has updated me on the status of the scans as he has had the results rather than waiting for an appointment. I am happy to recommend Ali as a consultant in a similar situation - very competent, communicative, approachable and friendly - a refreshingly different experience from the norm. Thanks Ali.

Mr Riley took the time to explain my situation and go over x-rays and CT scan images. He ensured I understood everything before moving on. He explained the procedure and my next steps and left me feeling very reassured and supported.

The whole experience from consultancy to operation was seamless and well informed. The operation was a total success and I was able to do most things after a week. It was a positive experience with Mr Oliver Stone. I had Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and I was experiencing numbness of my hands .I had consulted another surgeon previously for the same complaint and I wanted a clear explanation and an answer as to whether I should have surgery or not have surgery. Mr Stone carefully listened to what I had to say and I was given a full physical examination of my hands. Following this I was given a full explanation to help me to make a decision as to have surgery or leave well alone.
