I had a colonoscopy with Professor Lovat. I was quite nervous as I had never had one before and I was worried it would hurt. Professor Lovat was wonderful, he put me at ease, explained everything before the procedure, told me how I could ask for more sedation during the procedure if necessary, and explained the results afterwards. The procedure was not painful at all and he is clearly extremely skilled at what he does. 100% recommend.

My husband had reason to consult Dr Preston recently in an emergency. From the moment I emailed his secretary on a Sunday to the moment he saw my husband the following morning, we felt in safe hands. He arranged for immediate tests and admission. Within a matter of hours he had identified the immediate problem and was able to treat it. Thereafter he supervised my husband's inpatient care until he was discharged three days later and has regularly liaised with other medics also caring for my husband. Throughout all of our dealings with Dr Preston he demonstrated compassion whilst at the same time, professionalism and efficiency. We have no hesitation in recommending him and his team.

For years my father struggled with diabetes and an unhealthy relationship with food, which resulted in increased medication over time and consequently a deep conviction that this was the only way down the line. As a result, my father found it difficult to accept and adapt. Dr Filip’s approach, however, was totally different. His sessions are very educational and strategy based which empowered us to navigate the challenging tides of adaptation with renewed hope, clarity, and confidence. Throughout the sessions Dr Filip focused on clearing misconceptions and providing a methodical approach on how and when to prepare and consume meals. All questions were welcome - no question was treated lightly or seen silly, and delicate questions were answered with a highly valued level of detail, care and compassion. Beyond meals, Dr Filip gave keen attention to understanding daily routines and lifestyle and used these to tailor a realistic overall health plan, setting manageable objectives with highest impact one step at a time. Before signing up with Dr Filip, we were hesitant that this would bear fruit. My father is now well into his fourth month since starting the programme, and we haven’t seen him this disciplined before. What I love most is that Dr Filip built good rapport with my father which resulted in him accepting advice and consistently showing up for the sessions, which are conveniently offered to us remotely. Very thankfully, we are already seeing positive results and hope to be able to reduce medication in a few months’ time. We are very blessed to have Dr Filip and we personally highly recommend him for quality care and support.

Dr Lavan is an excellent GP. He is one of the first doctors who listened to me and my concerns without dismissing them. He referred me for a scan, he later explained the results clearly and he provided guidance for a follow-up with a specialist. His explanations regarding medical tests were very detailed but easy to understand. Also, I was able to get a same day appointment which is fantastic and the price set at £50 for a phone appointment was also reasonable. Very good experience overall.
