At the initial consultation all the potential risks of the operation and exactly what the operation involved were clearly explained. He saw me on the morning of the operation checked on me and asked if I had any questions. At the meeting to discharge me he clarified what he had done and explained the changes that I would experience during further healing. This was very reassuring.
