Professor Amitava Banerjee was incredibly impressive. He was very professional and very personable at the same time during every interaction. While obviously being extremely knowledgable, which in itself was very reassuring, he was a very calm, genuine and personable; both a great doctor and a great person. He was always very attentive, never rushed and focused on the patient as an individual. During a very stressful period his knowledge, experience and manner were invaluable. We wish more were like him.

I chose to have a consultation with Dr Gurunathan because of his knowledge, skills and expertise on cardio issues, including diagnostic imaging. I found Dr Gurunathan easy to talk to, helpful and insightful. He took time to explain how a normal heart functions, in contrast to the ectopic beats I was experiencing. From our discussion, he was able to quickly analyse the likely cause of my condition, before arranging a series of tests to confirm the diagnosis. His thoroughness of approach was very reassuring. I was kept fully informed at each stage of the testing process. Dr Gurunathan helpfully addressed all the questions I raised and I am very grateful to him for his time and professional patient care. The outpatient consultation with Dr O’Gallagher was thorough. He had clearly taken the time to read through the many medical reports, demonstrated kindness and compassion towards my husband (who had recently had a heart attack) at a time of such heightened anxiety.
