Dr Ho has been extremely thorough and detailed throughout the whole process of my retinal detachment surgery. At all my appointments everything was explained to me clearly so I knew exactly what was happening and also he would always ask if I was comfortable with all that was going to be taking place. Dr Ho is very attentive to his patients needs and I am very grateful for all he has done for me. Not many Dr take the time out for their patients, but Dr Ho does and I would highly recommend him to all. Five start treatment.

Mr Ayoub explained the whole process and subsequent outcome very thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns in detail. The surgery was on both eyes and the treatment was painless and took little time. All in all I felt I was in good hands all through the consultations and surgery and am very happy with the outcome. Mr Mitry took the time to listen and address all my concerns. He gave me options and he was supportive in helping me choose the best route for me.

Mr Zambarakji was very informative about my procedure understood my apprehension and explained that he could give me sedation. He was very friendly and calming at the actual procedure.

Dr Sancy Low, is a brilliant doctor. I am very short sighted in both of my eyes, and to make matters worse I had cataract in both eyes. The cataract was extremely worse in my left eyes, I thought I was going to lose my eyesight. When I meet with Dr Sancy Low she listened to my concerns, she could see how nervous and scared I was about my whole eye health. Dr Sancy said that she would look after me and she did exactly that. Dr Sancy has changed my life for the good, my cataracts are now removed, I can now see clearly. I was also given special lenses which were inserted in both of my eyes, these lenses has given me perfect vision. For the first time in my life I don’t need to rely on wearing glasses to see. I am very grateful to of met Dr Sandy. She is a wonderful and great doctor. Thank you Dr Sancy for giving me back my confidence. I no longer need to hide behind my glasses anymore. I was recommended by a friend who had the same Bilateral refractive lens replacement with Trifocal lenses that I was looking for and I am so pleased I followed that advice. Everything was explained to a super in depth degree, including videos of the actual procedure so I was fully aware of what to expect. The aftercare and follow ups were excellent and I was left in no doubt that, had there been any issues, which there weren't, everything would be managed which gave me piece of mind in making my choice of surgeon. Our eyes are so precious, it's important that you fully understand everything and you have the utmost faith in the professionals you choose. My only regret is that a phaffed around and didn't get it done years ago!

I had considered blepharoplasty for some time due to hooded eyelids. I had always previously ruled out elective surgery but due to the ageing process (I’m 48) I decided to have consultations at two reputable clinics, Clinica London being one. I was drawn to Miss Olver over the other clinic because she instilled confidence and understood entirely my objective - which was to look natural. Miss Olver carefully explained the process to me and managed my expectations in terms of recovery. That enabled me to plan for the surgery knowing how long I’d basically need to work from home and go to ground for. I had the operation a few months after my first consultation. On the day of surgery, I had a consultation with Miss Olver and had chance to discuss any concerns and ask questions. The whole experience felt very calm and Miss Olver and all the nursing staff were caring and attentive. I felt very looked after despite my obvious nervousness about how I’d look and feel afterwards. The surgery itself took around one hour. I was awake and kept informed throughout. The worst part was the anaesthetic but even that wasn’t so bad. I felt no pain during the surgery. Afterwards I felt very numb and had difficulty fully closing my eyes for a couple of hours until the anaesthetic wore off. I rested in a room for an hour and was cared for until my friend arrived to take me home. My eyes felt sore and watery for the first couple of days and I’d definitely advise anyone having the surgery to not work for a couple of days afterwards to avoid eye strain. I also found wearing sunglasses indoors helped. I followed to the letter the after care pack provided to me however and was encouraged to go for a walk each day. The recovery went as advised with the bruising getting gradually worse and peaking at around day 6. I have fair skin and the bruising lasted for around 3 weeks but it improved a lot after around 11 days and was largely coverable with makeup. The bruising was also localised to the eye area meaning sunglasses covered everything and no one gave me a second look when I ventured outside or to the shops. Within a month all the residual bruising had gone and the swelling under and around the eyes had also subsided. I had only told two friends and both on seeing me a month post surgery said they would never have suspected I’d had eye surgery. Instead they said I looked like I’d had a “really good nights sleep” and skin smoothing treatment. Other friends and colleagues who’ve seen me and have no idea I had surgery have told me how incredibly well I look. I was dreading going back to the office but on doing so no one suspected a thing and asked if I’d been on holiday. I’d recommend Miss Olver without hesitation and am absolutely happy with the results of my surgery. I’ve had two consultations post surgery and 7 weeks on, know she is on hand should any issues arise.
