Dr Saqib Bashir holds a post as a consultant Dermatologist, King's College Hospital, London, where he is the lead clinician for skin cancer. Additionally, he founded Skin 55, a specialist dermatology practice on Harley Street and also sees patients at The London Clinic, and BMI Sloane Hospital, Beckenham.
Dr Bashir gained a first class degree in neuroscience from Imperial College, London, before returning to his hometown to gain his medical doctorate from the University of Glasgow in 1997.
He was awarded a prestigious research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, before training in Dermatology at the renowned St John's Institute of Dermatology, London.
Having developed a strong foundation in dermatological practice, including in skin allergy, he went on to specialise in dermatological surgery and laser therapy. His practice is varied and encompasses the treatment of skin cancer as well as aesthetic and anti-ageing procedures.
Dr Bashir has an excellent academic record, having been published in a number of international medical journals, and having presented at the American Academy of Dermatology, the British Association of Dermatology and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. He is involved in the training of junior doctors at the London Deanery.
