I contacted Mr Al Chalabi via HCA after another consultant let me down, and I am very glad I did. He was able to see me for an initial consultation within 24 hours. The initial meeting was very useful, with Mr Al Chalabi explaining his diagnosis of my inguinal hernia clearly, giving me useful advice as to what not to do ahead my operation. He offered me an operation within a week of the consultation, but I took one two weeks later. His approach was excellent throughout - a good blend of professional and friendly. The operation went smoothly, and I have been left with limited pain and almost no swelling after the procedure. I almost feel lucky the first consultant let me down, and would recommend Mr Al Chalabi without hesitation.

A very positive experience indeed. With my symptoms improving, the doctor took a pragmatic, but most importantly, extra cautious and thorough approach to my condition. This, in turn, diagnosed and allowed treatment of a more serious health issue that I in fact had. Without this approach I would have suffered a much worse health condition in the future. This would not have been recognised without Dr Pitchers care, experience and intuition in digging deeper into my symptoms. Finally once this was recognised it was dealt with sensitively and in a very timely way.

Dr Asad is an excellent consultant and Oncologist of the GI stomach cancer, he is very professional , knowledgeable and polite, explained everything in details even I was keep repeating the things and he didn’t neglect me at all and tried to give me the logic explanation of treatment plans. Dr Rahman was really professional and thorough with a very reassuring bedside manner. He assessed my upper GI symptoms, ordered appropriate tests and has presented me with an analysis of the results and a treatment plan in a timely fashion. Dr. Simon Peake, is very thorough, with all the tests, he'd given me; as I was originally referred to him, via my Endocrinologist; due to my blood test results for anaemia. Dr. Simon Peake, had done a gastroscopy, and colonoscopy procedure at the same time, and whilst having this procedure done, he had cut away two, pre-cancerous polyps from the colon area; as I wasn't even aware I had them! Thankfully, I was given the all-clear. Dr. Simon Peake had taken his time to explain the results to me, he has a good bedside manner, and I would highly recommend him. His secretary, is a lovely lady, and very efficient.
