We saw Dr. Daniel Stott throughout my pregnancy and he delivered our daughter via elective c-section in April 2024. It is hard to imagine an obstetrician who provides a higher level of care and we are incredibly grateful for his professional, caring and evidence-based approach. He was quick to diagnose me with gestational diabetes and helped me manage my thyroid-related issues early on in the pregnancy. He was patient and quick to respond to our concerns, adopting an empathetic and proactive approach, while seeking advice from colleagues / his UCLH team for any issue that was outside his immediate area of expertise. I would not hesitate to approach him again should we decide to have another child.

Dr Seni took over my antenatal care around 25 weeks gestation. We had a preterm loss earlier so I was quite anxious with this pregnancy. At the first meeting with him we knew we had made the right decision. "Dr Seni don't miss a thing" my husband nicknamed him and its true. He went over my medical history thoroughly, spotting out gaps. He explained medical terms in a way that's easy to understand. My husband is non medical, he appreciated that. We found him professional, knowledgeable,warm.I had several consultations with him, none of them felt rushed. It was helpful to me to know that he was easily accessible should I need him. Come the delivery of baby I had a planned induction. Dr Seni was there for the whole process. My labour progressesd quite rapidly after the hormone drip commenced, it caught me of guard. I began pushing before I was mentally ready. And this is the part I truly appreciated his presence. Dr Seni steadied me then talked me through the delivery. My baby was safely delivered and I got through with the smallest, superficial tear which he stitched up. Overall our experience has been amazing. I felt safe and listened to. Dr Seni is clearly highly regarded by colleagues, the midwives love working with him

Mr Attilakos showed such kindness, warmth & patience from the moment I became his patient before my IVF cycle in Cyprus. As a 54 year old I was a little nervous about being pregnant at this age, & he assessed my health & fitness & made me feel totally confident about pursuing a pregnancy. The ongoing support & reassurance via bloods, scans & consultations by Mr Attilakos ensured I was relaxed, chilled & stress-free the whole time. Also any question I had however minor he would reply to me in 24 hours maximum. Despite his senior position Mr Attilakos makes you feel totally at ease & makes you feel you can ask any question at all. The whole experience was incredible & I fully intend engaging with Mr Attilakos when I go back to Cyprus for baby no.2. Thanks doctor for helping make my ultimate dream come true & believing in me despite my age.

My decision to birth privately was driven by my anxiety condition and wanting to control what I could to ensure I had a positive birth experience. On meeting Dr Chawla, I found her warm, approachable and trustworthy. My pregnancy became complicated around 32 weeks and Dr Chawla supported me at every stage. She always made herself available and checked in on me frequently and as an anxious patient, this was exactly what I needed. I had an elective caesarean and my wound had healed well with many midwives commenting on the neatness of the scar, something which I know Dr Chawla takes pride and care in ensuring is the case for her patients. Having got to know Dr Chawla over the course of my pregnancy and delivery, I have learnt that she will work relentlessly to look after her patients and ensure they feel supported at every stage. I cannot recommend Dr Chawla enough and I am grateful for her support during pregnancy, at delivery and after.

Mr Wimalasundera supported me throughout my twin pregnancy, through to birth. He is a fantastic consultant and I would recommend him wholeheartedly. Throughout my pregnancy I felt that Mr Wimalasundera was an ally and trusted adviser. He is clearly a specialist in his field and also offers a measured, kind and supportive approach. I always felt in extremely safe hands and I trusted Mr Wimalasundera’s judgment. His skills as a surgeon are excellent. My c section went extremely smoothly and my recovery was fantastic, which I credit to Mr Wimalasundera entirely! I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Mr Wimalasundera if I were to become pregnant again. Indeed I’d be delighted!

It was my first baby so I don’t have experience to compare but I trust Professor Jauniaux 100%
