Dr Shan Low has delivered my healthy baby boy as a consultant obstetrician by Caesarean section in the Portland Hospital on 20th May 2024. Looking back at my pregnancy and delivery journey, my husband and I are very grateful to have Dr Shan Low to be our consultant obstetrician. We are first time parents and we are not familiar with the delivery process. Dr Shan Low is very patient, approachable and responsive so we feel very comfortable to discuss any concerns we have during the process with her. The Caesarean section was very successful and my wounds have been recovered very well. I will definitely recommend Dr Shan Low to my friends during their pregnancy journey.

I felt I was in the safest hands, Miss Scott is so thorough and leaves nothing to chance. Her wealth of experience and very quick wit made my experience second to none!

Right from the start, Mr Chilcott filled me with confidence in deciding on an elective c section for the birth of my first child (who was breech). He provided his honest opinion when I requested it and took time to answer all my questions. The c section itself was incredibly smooth and I felt extremely looked after and in safe hands. The healing process has so far gone very well and I could not have been happier with the care I received. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Chilcott and if we ever have number 2, I would go straight back to him!

We are so grateful having found Dr Digesu when we moved to London from Dubai. We would always thank Dr Digesu for making our family complete!! His expertise is why we have our son!! After deciding to explore private maternity care, we did a thorough online research and found Daniel through UCLH’s Fitzrovia Suite. Since this was my first pregnancy, we wanted a consultant who would fully support our plans for a vaginal delivery with minimal interventions and whom we could trust 100% to provide the right advice. From our initial virtual meeting with Daniel, we felt completely confident in our choice. His supportive approach was evident from the start, as he listened carefully to our preferences and reassured us about the process. Given that it was a low-risk pregnancy, we agreed to begin consultations at week 36. Throughout the consultations, Daniel's support was unwavering. He offered valuable suggestions when needed but always respected our decisions, ensuring we were well-informed at every step. During the 24-hour labour, Daniel was available throughout the entire process. He thoroughly explained potential next steps and interventions, helping us make informed choices. Ultimately, our plans changed and Daniel's guidance was instrumental in making this decision. His considerate and supportive nature extended to the actual delivery, where he provided continuous encouragement and expert care. His excellent working relationship with the midwives at Fitzrovia, who also spoke highly of him, further reinforced our trust. Thanks to Dan's supportive approach and professionalism, I had a positive birth experience and felt confident and secure throughout the entire process.

Jess was our consultant for our first child and she provided wonderful care throughout. Jess took the time to understand our concerns and was thoughtful in providing guidance and recommendations when we needed it. She quickly responded to questions via email or WhatsApp and was always friendly and empathetic during consultations. She also went above and beyond and helped us when our daughter ended up back in hospital during our first week at home. My elective c section with Jess was a hugely positive experience and my recovery was very quick with no complications. I will always be grateful to Jess for her kindness and care during my first pregnancy and birth.

Dr Seni took over my antenatal care around 25 weeks gestation. We had a preterm loss earlier so I was quite anxious with this pregnancy. At the first meeting with him we knew we had made the right decision. "Dr Seni don't miss a thing" my husband nicknamed him and its true. He went over my medical history thoroughly, spotting out gaps. He explained medical terms in a way that's easy to understand. My husband is non medical, he appreciated that. We found him professional, knowledgeable,warm.I had several consultations with him, none of them felt rushed. It was helpful to me to know that he was easily accessible should I need him. Come the delivery of baby I had a planned induction. Dr Seni was there for the whole process. My labour progressesd quite rapidly after the hormone drip commenced, it caught me of guard. I began pushing before I was mentally ready. And this is the part I truly appreciated his presence. Dr Seni steadied me then talked me through the delivery. My baby was safely delivered and I got through with the smallest, superficial tear which he stitched up. Overall our experience has been amazing. I felt safe and listened to. Dr Seni is clearly highly regarded by colleagues, the midwives love working with him

We had an excellent experience with Mr Fernado and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an obstetrician. After a previous traumatic delivery at a different hospital we went to Mr Fernado for a planned c section. He made sure we were informed and everything was calm every step of the way. It was a truly great experience and we felt he went above and beyond to make it that way.
