Of the many heart specialists I’ve seen over the years I feel that Dr Dhinoja, more than any of them, took the time to develop a holistic and comprehensive understanding of my conditions and from there formed the most appropriate plan to take my treatment forward and to improve my health as much as possible under the circumstances. He was clear, easy to understand and really filled me with confidence and hope that I’d have a good outcome to my procedure.

Following a case of pneumonia in 2020, shortly before the onset of Covid, I have developed symptoms of dizziness and also atrial fibrillation soon after my discharge from hospital. I have found it difficult to find someone prepared to listen to me and advise me. Difficulty in seeing or speaking to a GP (for reasons I understand) have left me to try to work out what is wrong with me and why my symptoms, including problems with balance and several falls, have increased over the 4 years. I have had to discontinue the exercise classes I have attended for over 10 years, to my detriment. I thought it could be due to medication and probably the effect of a beta blocker. Dr Lowe has listened to me, advised me and given me a supervised period without a beta blocker. Symptoms of dizziness and unsteadiness increased accompanied by an irregular heart rate and some breathlessness. Dr Lowe has given me a diagnosis which seems to fit with what I am coping with and has referred me to a neurologist in case there is some underlying cause. I am very relieved and grateful not to be responsible for finding out what is the matter with me for a start.

I want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Finlay. His work is an art in itself. I've been suffering from multiple tachycardia and arrhythmia episodes that increased significantly during the last 6 months. The doctors put me on medications that made me tremendously sleepy and low on energy. During our first consultation, Dr. Finlay checked all the data and confirmed that he would be ready to perform an ablation procedure in my case. I had to fly in a short period of time with my grandkids, and Dr. Finlay and his team (special thanks to Kitti) managed to arrange the procedure in a very short time. Straight after the procedure, Dr. Finlay canceled all the medications that I had taken for my heart rhythm. The same day, I went home. It's been nearly two months now since the procedure, and I need to say I haven't had a single episode since. It's a miracle. Thank you very much. And God bless you in your daily magical work. Met him on my first visit as Cardiac Arrythmia specialist . He was pleasant, kind and listened to my history, without much explanation for my symptoms. He requested many tests and said we would meet in about a weeks time to discuss further, Wondered why he did not request a 24 hour ecg as it may help to detect the funny sensations that occur in my heart intermittently when i walk / climb stairs. Are they Atrial ectopics?
