I would definitely recommend him as a psychiatrist. He made me feel really comfortable and at ease. He addressed all my concerns and made sure to put a plan in place with medication that will work for different aspects of my life.

During that time, out of everyone that supported her, Dr. Mistry had the most positive impact. From the first meeting when he called out her eating disorder (a huge relief to me after fighting for the previous 6 months to get her help), his clear recommendation of inpatient care, his attention and care during her time in hospital and eventually her discharge to day support. I trusted Dr. Mistry fully from Day 1; he was always clear, professional, direct (but with compassion), entirely patient-centred and extremely responsive in terms of communication. When we were at sea, living in terror, his support and guidance were invaluable. I count ourselves very lucky to have found Dr. Mistry at that time of crisis. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I have only just started my process with Ryan, so I am sure there is more learning to be had. But the process so far has been great. Ryan is attentive, encouraging, and kind and has been able to provide a challenging lens to things without being discouraging.
