Thank you Dr Persad. After several serious water infections I was put onto a catheter with an anticipated 18 week waiting list. I was very concerned about the long term effect this would have on regaining normal bladder functions . As a result I decided to pay privately and was referred to Dr Persad. A Rezum operation was discussed, but after Mr Persad did a more detailed examination he suggested a Bladder Neck Incision operation. This has completely transformed my future prospects. I now have a better flow than for many years and am able to empty my bladder well. Thank you Dr Persad for diagnosing and performing the best procedure. I am catheter free which is enabling me to enjoy a healthy and active future

I have always found Mr Virdi the most friendly, informative, pleasant caring surgeon I have ever met. He goes out of his way to put you at ease and puts you as his patient first, hospitals although I have worked in a number throughout my years as a patient is not welcoming. I cannot state enough that with Mr Virdi as my consultant I felt throughout my journey that I could not be in more capable experienced caring hands and this put my mind at ease. I cannot speak highly enough of him and am sure others feel the same, and that he must be one of the most respected Rivers hospital consultant’s.

I was seen very shortly after my appointment time, so I appreciate the timekeeping here. Andrew seemed knowledgeable about my issue so I felt I was in good hands. Have yet to see positive results for an improvement on my condition, but I have hope!

Excellent urologist. Down to earth bedside manner. Listened carefully to my concerns. Very sensible in his approach and plan. Flexible cystoscopy painless and quick. Highgate hospital very nice staff and set up there.
