He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

This was the second time being treated for Mr Thomas - each time for completely separate complaints. Exactly like the first time, the care provided was excellent. Each appointment and on the day of surgery, time was taken to explain everything and answer questions that I had. Options were always given to me when possible, and fully explained, and I really felt I was involved in my care throughout. I couldn’t recommend Mr Thomas highly enough.

DR Sala is one of the best Dr's I have ever come across. She is very polite, kind and caring. She has always been updating me and my mum about everything happening. She dealt with my mums case with such high effort. She knows her job very well and mostly above this she knows how to treat people with upmost respect and dignity. I am so thankful that it was her who has my mums case.

Following research into the top surgeons for Gallbladder removal, I found Mr Kerwat. He should be rated 100 stars as he was superb. He explained the procedure very clearly, and on the day he removed my gallbladder via keyhole surgery, leaving me with almost no scarring AND I have had zero issues post surgery. I cannot recommend Mr Kerwat highly enough.

I was referred to Mr. Sacheen Kumar from Kingston Hospital. I found Mr. Kumar, professional, approachable and caring. My diagnosis was plainly described and the options available to me. I decided to have an operation and the procedure was clearly explained. As a patient, I felt "I was in good hands' under his care. Mr. Kumar visited me regularly during my hospital stay, reassuring me if I had any concerns. I am pleased with the results.
